issue four | may 16, 2005 This marks the first cover that has directly related to specific subject matter contained within the issue. With the release of the final Star Wars chapter, it just seemed fitting that the Co-Pilot commemorate this cultural landmark in some way. The figure on the left is a well-loved Darth Vader figure that navigated the galaxy not in a planet sized space station, but in a red lunchbox with a teal rocket ship on it. The figure to the right is a seasoned Obi Wan Kenobi who's soulful eyes have been stared into for hours on end in vain attempts to learn the ways of the Force. Star Wars holds special significance to editors of the Co-Pilot, who procrastinated through many hours of staff meetings by playing LEGO Star Wars. We are happy to report that we finally unlocked the Darth Vader LEGO figure last weekend... |
