Best Album Covers Ever: Pt. 1
Now, I have an old school 1980's style album of story raps that is in the works. That being said, it is never too early to begin researching and scheming album cover ideas. This little entry by 'Devastatin' Dave' really caught my eye. At first I thought it was Manny Ramirez pictured on the cover, but then I realized he isn't jacked enough. You have to respect it when the artist takes the time to rhyme up his name with his nickname. You can tell he's got the rap game down cold, he knows about rhyming, and what more street cred does he really need to convince us of?
His glasses match the stripes of his shirt, which is almost as much class as the formfitting leather pants. It should also be noted that the sheen of his leather pants is also echoed in the sheen of his jerry-curl, giving him a very shiny overall look.
The cover screams CMYK, which instantly grants a hell of a lot of digital street cred among the design community. His people know the basics of the four color printing process, and that is just straight illin'.

Word playa'! I love rappers in form fitting leather pants! That's why I hated MC Hammer. Why so baggy?
